Born in the Central American nation of El Salvador, and raised in Guatemala, Mexico City, Houston and Los Angeles, Miltonio bears the dual heritage of his Austrian mother, and Guatemalan father. To further highlight his multi-cultural style, Miltonio's musical roots are buried deep in the Latin rhythms of his childhood while also being heavily influenced by the power of American Funk/Soul, European House and Hard Rock.

Miltonio has been a part of the Houston Music Scene for several decades and has been a dominant Front-ManandProducer-Songwriter. His range sways from singing and playing Rock Originals, Jazz Standards to Salsa/Merengue Classics.

Miltonio’s career began as the lead singer & second keyboardist with OZ KNOZZ, a Houston based Progressive Rock band. Shortly after, he relocated to Los Angeles, CA where he honed his song writing skills, under the tutelage of the legendary Sam Brown III, one of L.A.’s top writer/arrangers.

Upon returning to Houston, Miltonio rejoined OZ KNOZZ and completed 2 LP Albums, “10,000 Days and Nights” and “True Believer”, the latter one being GRAMMY SUGGESTED in several categories.

In 2008, Miltonio joined forces with Jeff Morrison creating the dynamic Funk duo Lords of Kool, releasing their first self produced album titled “Back in Time”, also GRAMMYSUGGESTED in several categories. Miltonio is a National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences - N.A.R.A.S. Affiliate and a GRAMMY’S voting member.

Miltonio has collaborated, opened up for and/or jammed with a long list musicians & recording artists including: Jose Feliciano, Body Bag, Danzig, Wendy & Lisa from Prince and the Revolution, Kansas, Judas Priest, Eddie Palmieri, Mark Towns, The Fabulous Jalapeños, Norma Zenteno, David de la Garza, Andy Vargas, Cal Curtis and the Atomic Dog himself George Clinton plus many others.

Miltonio's new production team and band share the name DaFunkHouseand they have just released 2 LP Albums under the moniker Miltonio & DaFunkHouse“.

The albums “Group Sex” and Tibetan Funk are Grammy Suggested in 8 Categories and are available on all download and streaming platforms.
